I’m a fractional director of communications for growth-stage companies and ambitious SMEs, bringing the strategic depth of a senior comms director to businesses that need it most, without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire.
My career spans 25 years working on some of the most recognisable names in media and technology – Warner Music, the BPI, the BRIT Awards, BBC, Wise, Viacom, Publicis, JCDecaux, and Reach.
I began in the music industry, where I made more than 100 media appearances as a record industry spokesman for the BPI, representing the sector across print, radio and television on some of its most contested issues.
From there, I spent three years leading technology PR at the BBC, a period that coincided with the rollout of BBC iPlayer and a major expansion into digital platforms, leading a team of five.
I then joined Propeller PR as a director, helping to double the agency in size to a £2.4m practice, before founding my own consultancy, a pay-as-you-go PR agency serving SMEs and early-stage startups.
Today, through Full Funnel PR, I work with a focused portfolio of scale-up founders and growth-stage businesses, advising on communications strategy, media positioning, messaging architecture, and the operational systems needed to make PR work as a genuine growth driver.
